"Silver Lake Outlet" - Todd Reed
Alive with light and wind, Silver Lake Outlet looks its autumn best on a crisp October morning. This is my favorite time of year to photograph the Lake Michigan shoreline. Brad and I look forward all year long to our October photographic fix. The scenes change from place to place but on a good October morning, dune grass looks as radiant as the most beautiful flower, blue sky is painted with the most gorgeous soft clouds and Lake Michigan puts on a non-stop whitecap show. It just doesnÕt get any better. So get out those sweatshirts and head for the waterfront. You will be glad you did.
"Crimson Tide" - Brad Reed
Many of the country roads in Mason County are lined with vibrant old maple trees. Every fall I look forward to driving around the county looking for new favorite trees to photograph. The second I spotted this massive maple tree on Wilson Road near Scottville, I knew I had found my new favorite tree. This particular tree seemed to have some human element about it that was drawing me to it. The closer I got to the tree, the stronger the sensation. God works in mysterious ways.
