"Staying Alive" - Todd Reed
So many of Michigan's birch trees have succumbed to disease, but this stand south of Ludington continues to stay alive. I enjoy driving by the white birch trees on Chauvez Road west of the US-31 Expressway whenever I happen to be in the area. I especially look forward to watching the birch and the neighboring trees come to life in the springtime.
"Butterfly" - Brad Reed
My wife Betsy and I have a beautiful butterfly bush in our yard on Lewis Street in Ludington. We look forward all year to seeing the butterflies and humming birds that frequent our back yard to visit their favorite butterfly bush. Our two cats love it too. They sit and chatter out the window at the different visitors.
