"Into The Wild" -Todd Reed
Looking across the layers of dunes and forest between Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake from high atop Big Point Sable Lighthouse reveals the vastness and beauty of the remote northern area of Ludington State Park. Brad and I climbed to the top of the lighthouse on an early November morning and sat in the dark anxiously awaiting sunrise. The light and atmosphere that appeared was well worth the chilly wait. "Points of Light" -Brad Reed
I love studying the great painters and photographers of the world and various genres of art. I have always been fascinated by pointillism and how colors can be blended to make something larger and more fantastic. While photographing the rocks in front of Big Point Sable Lighthouse at Ludington State Park, I was impressed by the small 'points' of color on the water, rocks, and ice and how the colors blended to create a wonderful image.
