"Winter's Best" -Todd Reed
Neither Brad nor I could sleep, having gone to bed knowing that it was snowing hard and expected to snow all night. It looked like it was going to be the Christmas card morning we so desperately needed to complete the shooting for our Ludington State Park book. Our photo gear was double-checked and our winter clothing ready so that when we awoke on Jan. 11 to a fairyland of snow we could meet at the park before dawn and begin shooting at first light. The Hamlin Dam was one of many spots that caught our eye on the most beautiful snow day in several years. [ Purchase This Photo ]

"Aura" -Brad Reed
My dad and I believe that great photography is all about feeling. I was so excited while rushing to take this photograph during a bone chilling January sunset, that I locked my keys in my truck. Every time I look at this photograph now, it makes me chuckle and brings back feelings of embarrassment. I hope this photograph still gives viewers warm, fuzzy feelings even after knowing the rest of the story. [ Purchase This Photo ]
