"Trophy Buck" - Todd Reed
As autumn approaches, hunters start dreaming of seeing a big buck appear in front of them. My adrenaline was pumping when this beautiful 8-point appeared broadside in front of me. Buck fever could have gotten the best of me, but I concentrated on making a good shot. I liked the result and so did the deer, which ambled away to live another day while I headed home with the buck shot I had envisioned stored in my digital camera. Cameras are indeed a powerful weapon! [ Purchase This Photo ]

"Michigan Lightning" - Brad Reed
I was in awe of the giant bolts of lightning striking Lake Michigan as I was standing on the beach at the end of Ludington Avenue during a fierce September electrical storm. One massive bolt after another came crashing down and I was lucky enough to capture one that split on both sides of the lighthouse. When I downloaded the photo the next day, my dad quickly noticed that the bolt looked like the lower peninsula of Michigan. [ Purchase This Photo ]
